Comfort Catering celebrates cultural cuisine from around the globe. Comfort Catering offers an array of fresh food menus for your gatherings, meetings and events that are sure to delight and nourish your guests.

MEET CHEF KHURSHIDA

I never dreamed of being a chef.

My inspiration was bringing people together with good food. I had heart-warming memories of my mother cooking when I was a child in Bangladesh. As a young person in the United States, I experienced the incredible tradition of gathering over a meal at Thanksgiving. Even Ramadan, when everyone fasts all day, ends with breaking the fast and family and friends enjoying a meal together. Food unites people and I wanted to be part of bringing people together.

I had been doing public speaking for 15 years but needed a change. I wanted to do more to bring people together. My cooking had been mostly limited to my family and friends. In 2016, I started catering and it was so healing for me and others. I put my heart and soul into the cooking, and it showed. It was great to see the happy people enjoying the food and using it to nourish their bodies while gathering with families, friends, the community and co-workers to nourish their souls.

CATERING FAQ

  • Our minimum order is $500.

  • Comfort Catering is a full-service catering company, and we supply everything you'll need for your event. We customize services based on your personal needs and budget.

  • Yes! We offer full service with on-site staff. Or you can select a drop-off service where we deliver your food hot and ready to go.

  • We specialize in cultural cuisine from around the globe. See our menus to learn more.

  • Absolutely! We specialize in creating diet and allergy-friendly menus, including gluten-free, paleo, nut-free, etc. Just let us know what you're looking for, and we'll plan a menu.

  • We can do a tasting for a large event such as a wedding, We encourage you to participate in our BOGO food program to get a taste of what we cook.

  • Cancellations should be made at least three business days prior to the event date. Cancellations made less than three days prior to the event are subject to a 20% cancellation fee.

  • We take orders on a first-come, first-served basis. We recommend at least one week’s notice for deliveries and two or more weeks for a full-service. During summer months and December we book up quickly, so we recommend as much notice as possible.

  • Yes, if you do onsite catering we do have linens and dishes available. If we are dropping the catering off we can add disposable dishes and silverware to your order.

  • We do not cook with or allow any pork products in the ASHHO Cultural Community Center
